This session is designed to help state leaders develop a Mentoring Program that will help keep new CTE Teachers in the classroom. We will share about what Iowa Agriculture Teachers are doing to encourage their new teachers to stay in the classroom, talk about developing a mentoring program, and give feedback on what has worked and what hasn't in the development of a successful mentoring program, and how veteran teachers are vital to the success of future teachers.
